The Aristide Merloni Foundation, in collaboration with trade union organisations and local trade associations, has started a new Master’s course in European Project Planning that fulfils the needs emerging from the Orizzonte Europa survey. The training path for the 30 students comprises 12 classroom lectures and three visits to the company.

‘From theory to practice’, commented Francesco Merloni, the Foundation’s President, ‘with the start of this Master’s course we’ve met the needs of small and medium-sized companies of the Marche. We need to work as a team also in the European Project Planning sector to sustain companies and employment in the Marche’. President Merloni could hardly conceal his enthusiasm for working with capable and motivated youths and with interesting projects. ‘Training highly qualified professionals is a responsibility that the Foundation has never failed to neglect: the Temporary Manager for European Project Planning intervenes in building operating projects, when it is not possible to invest in in-house personnel. The Master’s course, therefore, has an ambitious goal’, concluded Mr Merloni, ‘namely that of developing managers specialised in using European resources optimally’.
