ARISTON THERMO GROUP AT THE ECONOMIC FORUM ITALY - RUSSIA

From 6th to 7th of April the economic forum «Italy - Russia» took place in Moscow. In the event participated Minister of Economy of Italy Claudio Scajola, Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin, Union of Industrialists and some Banking associations. The Italian side was represented by more than 500 major companies, including Ariston Thermo Group.

The first day of the Forum was dedicated to discussion, with the leading Italian companies, on the preparation for Sochi Olympic Games - 2014. The Olympic Committee of Sochi - 2014 and the construction company SK Olimpstroy paid particular attention and great interest to Mr. Paolo Merloni, CEO of Ariston Thermo Group. As the largest player in the international market for heating and water heating equipment, Ariston Thermo Group has already experienced a successful project equipping with solar collectors the Olympic village in Beijing.

The second day, after discussion of Mr.Vladimir Putin with the participants of the Forum, Mr. Paolo Merloni, together with representatives of the 9 largest and the most important Italian companies concerning strategic cooperation, they were invited to Kremlin where took place the meeting with the president of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
