30^ Ranking of Marche Region Manufacturing Enterprises
The 30^ edition of Ranking of Marche Region Manufacturing Enterprises was presented last Wednesday 19^ October at the “Loggia dei Mercanti” in Ancona, Italy.
Promoted by the Aristide Merloni Foundation, this study aims to monitor and analyze the annual reports of the leading enterprises of the Marche Region, organizing the data of more than 50 groups and 200 companies in a ranking accompanied by commentary and analysis on economic and financial performance of the Region.
The analysis of the 2015 financial results shows that Ariston Thermo is, again, at the top of the Marche Region economy, confirming its second place in the ranking, and has been defined by the speakers the “true global enterprise of the Marche Region”, highly international and competitive, but with strong local roots.
The meeting was introduced by the President of the Aristide Merloni Foundation, Francesco Merloni, that commenting on the results, noted: "Certainly the impact of the globalization on our durable consumer products and the economic and financial crisis have impacted heavily on the budgets of the Marche enterprises. However, I believe that our annual event has allowed the Marche entrepreneurs to focus on their more resilient and virtuous decisions. In particular, internationalization has been one of the most successful factors, which has allowed many entrepreneurs to move up the ladder in trough of these years”.
The event saw the contribution of the authors of the research - Donato Iacobucci, professor at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, and Valeriano Balloni, ISTAO Vice President – and enhanced by concluding remarks by Prof. Romano Prodi.
